Fortunately I'm on the exec level and pretty stable... Not to mention our company culture is one that doesn't often get rid of employees.. It's a stressful environment for some of us but a good company.

Its been an awesome year, more money moving than ever before. My business has doubled. I think I like down turns, it wakes people up out of a false since of security. |

well good for you... I think you have a point.. At least you're helping them... Hopefully that will get them through or teach them for the next time...

I counted it up the other day, I've taken off 11 weeks this year so far and will be off next week, and Christmas week. All the while my business has prospered. Thinking I need to take more time off

You know I work so I can play. I like to play. I hate to work. smarter not harder. Yes 7 of those weeks were devoted to father/daughter time.

You need to take more time off...but we talked about that before. Take a trip...do something so when you look back you will have a memory.

I will eventually... I'm well, it's like I have to be there or everything blows up.. Even when I'm away I have to work, emails and check in or it's horrendous when I get back... Lately I've been feeling like just taking off and going to live somewhere quiet and serene... Of course I let go of the thought after a few minutes, but it's really nice while I'm thinking it...

It is good, quiet and serene. Its a great stress free life. The Rat race will age you fast.

I believe it, I can sometimes feel it... I want a lake house off the beaten path I think.. It's sounding really nice these days... But alas I have to work and in this economy changing isn't a good idea, let alone to a small town area...

This is very true...side point Oklahoma I think has the most shoreline than any other state in the Union.

I remember my great Aunt had a small lake on her property... I was young when I visited so I don't remember if it was in Ada or just outside...

Tons of lake down there...so it could be anywhere

Yeah and I was 7 so I mean what would I remember except that and learning to ride bareback...
I am entitled to land and a small stipend of cash should I ever decide to go there though... lol |

More important than cash and land, is balance of life. Take some time off.
