Betty what do you have with the Turkey? Are there any traditional foods? Well besides mashed potatoes ,gravy ,stuffing and cranberries I usually make a broccoli casserol .corn (for the kids) squash bisquits ,and pumpkin pie and apple pie for dessert. How about you? Do you use butternut squash for the biscuits? That should have read squash and biscuits. I just buy the ones in the can that you bang on the counter...love doing that Slapping around more food, huh? of course!!

I use to make them for my Dad when he was alive but he was the only one that ate them.

Why? nobody likes them?We love them. I never did and the kids wouldn't try them no matter what my Dad bribed them with.

Deep fried turkey not the same as roasted, not as good I think..

That's the only way we cook it anymore...a lot more moist than roasting and doesn't take nearly as long....We inject it with seasoning....it's delicious!
