It is my damn job to defend anyone I know is being unfairly treated, that would be your *** too if I saw it was being abused
I suppose Bush was never unfairly treated? If he was did you defend him? I did have to defend him a couple of times but for the most part he was not unfairly treated. Prove it! |

I had to defend him against a few of the conspiracy theorists who say he orchestrated 9/11. I just do not believe he did that. I also had to defend him in the shoe throwing incident. It was just really disrespectful. Of course I did laugh a bit about it but it was still not a good thing. He had great reflexes that was the funny part. I had to defend him with his Illegal Alien policies because I backed him on his policies there. |

The amount of rhetoric and psuedo agenda is so over whelming at this point the real discussions just cannot happen. I have to defend the man's rights to be so much I cannot get to the issues at hand. If we could get past the bull to get to the real issues at hand it would be great. |

Agreed. The first time someone screams racism it shuts down debate. Nothing is wrong with oposition to political policy. Healthy debate is necessary to reach a compromise on important issues we face. The more people possess power, the more they focus on their own egocentric desires and the less able they are to see others' perspectives. You can find fanatical partisans on both sides of the abortion debate but our country reached a compromise. It remains legal with restrictions no matter which political party holds power. Just a thought... How many people remember the stereotyped assaults against conservative blacks including Condi, Clarence Thomas and Steele? The left's defense was freedom of speech. Notice the change of thinking since they grabbed political control. ;) |

He is not your buddy.
