Hmmm...I did not think that was a big deal but really never looked at it. I would think like a visa type thing than renew when it runs out. Just think how many people want to go to BC. 
So I guess I could go to BC then and work. Become an RN student in USA, you can be a student forever. How come you cannot be a LPN, or LVN? Maybe now but when I visited Canada before you only needed you USA RN to work. Everything in the world is changing

You may have to upgrade or go back to school again.....not sure. Its 4 years now to be an RN. When my sis went it was 2 years.

you know daytime....where I am I do the most violent person in the whole facility. I think the big shots have a deep respect for me for doing the most violent person by myself. And they listen to me.....which I truly appreciate because Im the one who has to deal with them. Im the one who gets kicked in the face, the one who gets punched, scratched etc. And they know when I say.....he needs his "happy pills NOW" they listen......
I really appreciate it when they listen to ME!! |

You know there is always a tier system, but we all have to work together and when they listen to me it makes a big difference.

I listen to my CNA's all the time, especially the ones that are really on top of things, the CNA's are important in a way they "run the units" all we have time to do here is pass medications and respond to medical emergencies. |

Here, where I work, the Rns do paperwork and oversee things, the LPNs give the meds and the RCAs, do the real work.
Im tough...Im small.....and most of the time Im in pain but I do it. And I really appreciate a nurse who listens....

As an RN I usually have to give meds but not always depending on the unit, I float. I rather give meds, do not like sitting behind a desk. Agree the CNA's are now doing the work, doing alot of what nurses use to do

Its hard when you work 8 hours, tired, study another 8-12 hours because I do that.....cause I gotta be the best yanno!!!
