so i log on to my yahoo messenger and instead of it working like normal i get this message every time Microsoft visual c++ run-time library runtime error!and for the last few days ive been getting a lil yellow triangle on my taskbar next to yahoo and says something about a yahoo failure.and how i uninstalled it and reinstalled it and im still getting that error message!im gonna blame it on windows black!

is it because of windows black or another issue?

any help is welcomed!

What operating system are you running, and what service pack level (right click "my computer" and select properties)? What version of messenger? What version of Internet Explorer? And what have you changed, added, installed lately?

The most common issue I see related to this is an infection. Perhaps the ccleaner cleaned that up.

Hope it all works for you.

I had a similar problem from a client once and I fixed it by going to:

Internet options/advance tab

then click the option that says (not sure of the exact words in English since I have a french version)

DEACTIVATE THE DEBUGGING OF SCRIPTS (OTHER APPLICATIONS)

and unclick

DISPLAY A NOTIFICATION FOR ALL SCRIPT ERRORS

That solved the problem of my client hope it will help yours.
