i was just curious if i'm as heartless as i've been told. i think people jump to soon

The Grandma calls that "bein' cussed" and she has sworn by it all her life!

I marvel at her ability to maintain her autonomy the way she does, even w/ the great loves she has had in her life ...

I'm far TOO passionate to be "cussed" ... blushing

I just let her rip, damn the torpedoes and full speed ahead ...

Duck! Incoming ...

That's an interesting description of love, never heard that before.

Well, it's Grandma's response when she is called heartless... "I'm just too cussed to fall for that," she replies.

She seems to fall in love w/ her head and keep her heart stowed in the overhead!

She is 80 and SO happy, w/ no regrets ... and not one romantic broken~hearted episode to her name!

It is a special skillset I've never been able to learn, try though I might ... ohwell

I reckon it is my distinctly, wild artiste temperament! ... ... Oh well ... !!!

I am beginning to at least fake it until I make it, at 50 ... late bloomer ... laugh

I've been called heartless a few times, but I take it as a compliment.laugh

'Zactly ... straight up gospel, 'nuff said!!! I see it as a proven winning formula ...

I'm catchin' up, wait up ...

Fear, share what 'in love' is......please?

Death, well, not the action...but the thought. Regardless of choice or circumstance aside from unfaithfulness, you are their one and they are your one. Like I've said, it doesn't exist.

I guess...but that wasn't my point. Bugs are perfect, they do what they are bred to do and nothing more/less. Humans are fallible, callous, and altogether selfish (for the most part). Which is why my vision of love can't, won't, and doesn't exist.

I thought I was in love, but I wasn't...people always disapoint me. It was either I am not good enough or they have " things" to get through and would put me on the back burnerfrown

then those people suck

bone chilling howls and growls from loss......

brief times of extreme joy for mutual love, roaring from the mountain tops..... then rethinking to warm mists of enveloping comfort and understanding when thoughts clear.....

after all, monsters are hard to love......

WTF do women want? It seems a wise man once said that to me, and sadly I don't remember who he was. My ex giggled, screamed, moaned, begged for more, but still she was insane and gave up the best man she's ever had in her life. I'm the one that's laughing, not her. Sanity is something not enjoyed by all.

Hmmm my guess would be she didn't see it quite that way.

I've been in love twice, and thought I was twice. Most recently I ended a relationship with someone I thought I was falling in love with... but wasn't quite there.

I am pretty sure I'm in love again. I'm giving it a bit more time to be certain... but I have a good feeling about it.

I hope one day you experience love. It's heady... and it's a feeling you'd never trade for anything. Like that film, City of Angels. Five minutes of pure love is better than a lifetime without any. It just simply IS.

You're better off, really. As good as it can be, it's not worth the letdown when everything blows up. Better to just maintain some semblance of balance and sanity.

I think we confuse what real love is with infatuation unless you are referring to passion in a loving relationship, even still I don't believe passion last, true love is a feeling of contentment, it is a feeling of calm and of peace.

Expecting passion on a daily basis from one another is totally unrealistic, passion simmers, but it don't have to go out completely I think this is why so many people have affairs, new relationships with someone start with infatuation, only time can tell us if it is really love, if here is only passion and nothing else, then there can be no love, only sex. Someone once told me if you are in a relationship, than you better have something to talk about after the sex is over,to have something in common with the other person, passion can last if both parties keep it alive, but i have seen in most cases couples are not always on the same page.

My own personal opinion i think at times love and passion have different meaning for men as too woman.
