4 tablespoons melted margarine
2 cups uncooked pasta
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon each salt, pepper, & onion flakes
breadcrumbs


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Use an ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
Pour margarine in pan.
Add uncooked pasta and stir.
Add cheese, salt, pepper, onion.
Pour milk over top.
Top with a sprinkling of breadcrumbs.
Bake for 40-50 minutes.

I just do it on the stove, and use the oven for a very short time to melt the cheese.


Breadcrumbs imo are not worth the waiting 40-50 minutes.


Bet its good though.

omg, my Dad used to make that (no breadcrumbs(real onions)) in little pie plates,
then freeze it - its the chit!!!

I never made the recipe where you dont cook the pasta first....is it
creamier when you just cook it together?

I've always cooked the pasta first also... curious as how it turns out if not cooked first before baking... is it soupy or does the consistency become more solidified? flowerforyou
