I know we have a lot of avid readers here. Thought this might be a good way to share books, maybe expose yourself to some new authors and another great way to meet some different folks here. I'm not going to keep a list of members, or their address. Just post here if you're interested in participating, authors/books you have to share or might be interested in receiving and then just contact one another to make the exchange arrangements. Please feel free to discuss the books you've received and read here as well.

That sounds interesting. I read pretty much anything other than romance novels.

Sounds like fun but to dig in the depths of my closets and storage to find them to swap might require more braveness than I could manage scared

But I love books, happy to chat about and recommend (it's my job after all) bigsmile

hey guys, anyone have old Bibles? Maybe granparents or some "elderly" people might have them. Please get back!!!

P.S. KJV. Sometimes the KJV might be so old that they don't even have the version in it!! Thanks all!

Okay, well, some of my favorite authors are...

Mihael Crigehton
Michael Cook
Dean Koontz
Mary Higgeins Clark
Daielle Steele

I like some autobiogpraphies, funny/comical, and short story books.
I'm always lookin' to discover other authors.

I like thrilers, mysteries, love stories with a twist. I detest Harelquin and a 'Fabio' type romance novels and ALL of the 'Chicken Soup' books that not only are not inspiring, but...depressing.

I am nearly finished reading a book titled the 'Glass Castle', shared with me from a member of the 'Secret Pal' thread. A memior of the author's rather colorful childhood with an alcoholic father and mother with a mental disorder, I am guessing, bipolar, mixed. It was a 'page-turner' I am happy to share.

Have no qualms whatsoever with sharing my address....so write me.

Yeah, I'm not much into the romance novels either, some are quite nauseating.
