im not selective... It's not a bad thing, people who jump on the first person they see are being desperate and setting themselves up to fail. However, when you have too many expectations, the same is true. So maybe something in the middle? Where he just has to be a man who bathes regularly and has all his teeth? (those are my standards)

you know that old "cant find a person who wants a relationship till your in one syndrome" lol its because we quit trying and are happy and act like ourselves again... its actually quite an attractive trait

But yeah, people usually want to date happy people not ones who complain.

I think it helps to make an excuse of why "no one wants me," rather than keep trying, it's like a defense mechanism; I have a few of them myself, so I kind of get it.
