Do you believe that health care is a right or a privelege?

I'd have to say a right.

What health care is, was not the question. right or privelege?

You misunderstood. By explaining what it is, I mean that it is neither a right nor a privilege. It is a service. (in the same manner that auto repair or hair care is neither a right nor a privilege) It is thus governed by the same natural economic laws that govern all services (that goes beyond the breadth of this thread though, I think).

I would say yes.
Yes, us po' folks should get it at no cost to us and yes, the middle class and rich folks should have the right to pay for it.

So you see human beings as objects?

No, the government sees people as objects ("cattle" or "sheep" would probably be more accurate). I see health care as a service subject to economic laws, just like I said.

Making individuals dependent on government for things is FAR crueler than making them earn what they need. (not to mention objectively immoral)

The Constitution states you have a right to a free press, that doesn't mean the Gov. has to provide a printing press to every person.
You may have decided that you have a right to healthcare, doesn't mean the Gov. has to provide it.

Fortunately not every one in government sees people as objects, (cattle sheep whatever words one likes to use to humiliate people), but of course as we see how you beleive, we know there are those in government that do, other wise there wouldn't be such opposition.

Oh ya, it's so cruel to feed and shelter some unfortunate soul no longer able to work. We should just let them die, their useless now anyway. Sorry, but your views give me the creeps...

I hope I am always able to pay my way so I never run into someone who believes like that.

You're right.
Ron Paul fights every day for the people.
He doesn't have to and he'd be a whole lot more popular with the DC crowd if he'd just follow the program.
