Well here's my take on it, I've done the cougar-hunt just like you. Had one that was quite a deal older than me, and now I'm a widower. Two years went by after losing my beloved Marilyn to a heart attack, until I found this strange and exotic bird from Australia, 8 years older than me. Made some serious mistakes though, she was already married to another man when we hooked up, we were co-workers, and she got a divorce 2 months after we met, for other reasons, not because of us, but she had some serious baggage, from this, other relationships, her alcoholism, anger, bipolarness, etc. etc. Long story short the cute kangaroo turned into a tasmanian devil, I kicked her out, and has successully turned me off of Aussie chicks all together. 3 years wasted, WTF! Next one for me is going to be American made, and my age or younger, I can't do the menopause thing anymore, too much stress. Moral of the story, some women like bad boys, sure it's fun, but sometimes it comes back to bite you on the ***.

when i was 16 i dated a 26 year old. Really did love him and still good friends with him to this day. The only downfall was we were both in different places. He wanted to settle down have a family and I wanted to be young and wild. Oh yeah and not to mention my mom threatening to call the cops. But other than that we connected better than I have ever connected with a guy my own age.
