Bold are her ways and just like the good old days
 I’m really missing what I had back then.

Farther drifting away from the past
 as we know good rarely lasts longer than
a still Chicago winter wind.
 
It’s such a blow of compulsive desire astutely disruptive to the soul.
Wrangle with emotions;
struggle finding the right words in order to maintain control.

We must seek forums where fledgling hearts can be nurtured and given freedom to express love.
So long after vesting our interest and watching it go under,
I pray for help from above.
 
Dusting off my passion is humbling though a necessary task.
Getting the fire to once again burn brightly is the only way to remove my mask.

A flame escapes, it marks the path of return from whence bliss came.
Calmness erupts into desperation as I recall slowly chanting her name.

The results of forlorn and misguided hopes blossom into feral fantasy.
I dream of this one constantly and she looks, but wont dance with me.

I've fret long given the cards in this hand, still keeping my head held up high.
I bet those lingering near the floor want more for less but 99% of them lie.

When confronted with flaws God gifted them with they tumble oh so easy.
Those who embrace their gifts excel in life and the truth just flows so freely.

Tempting ones heart with lust just slowly forms a bond to kindred wiles.
Teasing the intellect offers growth and quickly changes frowns to smiles.

As though the day's promised many act arrogantly missing out on much.
It can all be taken away faster than given so respect the Blessing as such.

Honesty prevails assuring the nexus we forge is eternally in elegant fashion.

Surrendering is the only way if it's for her that I'm dusting off my passion.
