I had a friend....(and I am now using the term loosely  laugh ) who is a clinical psychologist, do a psych eval and assessment on me...

I'm NEVER speaking to him again.

He suggested I had skewed cognitive thinking caused by extreme trauma culminating in PTSD, and as a consequence had developed a dissociative disorder!

After I picked myself up off the floor....mopped up the puddle from peeing myself laughing, I took his drink away from him, and skitched my dog on him.

He is now banned from EVER telling me what he really thinks.grumble grumble grumble

Don't ever ask a mental health worker if you are mental...laugh laugh laugh

i once dated a psych major who used to always try and compare me and my life history to whatever he was learning that week...needless to say that relationship didn't last too long.

When I worked as a psychiatric nurse we used to read out loud the questions on the evaluations and then answer back and forth it was crazy and soooooooooo funny.

If someone thinks I'm crazy, I take it as a compliment. Normal is boring.

It is pretty standard knowledge that people that go into psych have their own unresolved issues.I should clarify that this is standard knowledge among psych professionals and most freely admit this.
I no longer work in psych, I moved on to medical nursing.
I would take all this with a grain of salt. Turn the tables and eval him.
Everyone has issues it is part of life.

We all have issues, no matter how normal we think we are. That is part of the disorder, not knowing you have it....lol

Psych evaluations are fun, they show you pictures and you respond like this: Bunny, rainbow...massive puddle of blood...pillow, comfort...

Ahhhh Bonny....I asked him...threw down the gauntlet....it was an academic type conversation...that rolled into that...and not always is a Roushach inkblots used...well not here in Australia...we have the question and answer variety...

the fact that he knows my history didn't help....he had the 'inside info'....

it was funny....a little uncomfortable, but extremely hilarious....

and the pregnant pause at the end of his summation was priceless!

Everyone in the room just went ''''hhhheeeeeeeeppppp!!!'''' they breathed in, but didnt breath back out, till I cracked up laughing!

And well yes, he did deserve being skitched by Shae...pitchfork pitchfork
