Awwww!{{{{{{bear~hug}}}}}}I thank you all very kindly for wishing me a Happy B'day.I tried to avoid the big 50 as long as I could but I've reached that milestone anyway.;=)But U know what?I still feel young at heart & I'm quite certain that I shall always remain that way.I haven't discovered an elixir for immortality yet but more so a healthy mindset.This comes from)My 3 beautiful angels whom I love & adore beyond belief.2)My occupation w/ is working w/ youths.3)My deep life-long passion for Hockey & my ability to stay in the game at least within an in-line skate level of play.When I lace up my skates & place a hockey stick in my hand I feel more like I'm 20-25 yrs.old.4)Music of course is another deep passion & has always kept my spirits very high & it is a faithful friend that remains by my side throughout my entire life if I allow it to & I shall.5)Last but never least is my very dear friends whom reside at JSH/M2.I love them & care about them very deeply.Some of the ppl.that are posting in this thread go way back w/ me to the early days of JSH.Actually I will be celebrating my 3rd yr.Anniversary on 10/16/09.They know me as Cybear which was my orig.s-n/writer's name.They are some of the greatest ppl.that I have ever encountered in my life & I am forever grateful that our paths crossed.They are very dear to me & I shall cherish them always.
We have shared countless laughs,wisdom,advice,sorrow,tears,support & much more.They helped me get through my darkest time in my life(divorce).Some of these friends are co-writer's who shared a sacred place w/ me which is the Poetry Forum.Many have moved on in life however they will always remain in my heart forever & will never be forgotten.;) I have mentioned in many threads that I will never leave this site & that testament stills remains in effect & shall always stand regardless of whether myself or my S/O were to find each other(package deal).I have been in a wee bit of trouble at the site lately so in light of that I have removed certain forums from my settings to avoid suspension.There are them moments when U feel compelled to ask ??What profile??when someone shows up w/a completely blank profile & there asking for a rating.That can be amusing at times but can equally be frustrating also hence it is removed from my settings.I shall always welcome new friends w/ open arms however I have learned from sheer experience to guard my heart in the process.My hope is that my new friends will learn,grow,share & have fun along w/ us oldies but goodies(lol);)& remain w/ us through light & darkness within our lives for that is one of the definitions of true friendship.I will close now w/a ref.to my most deeply loved & cherished song of my entire life which is "Near You Always"by Jewel Kilcher for that is where I choose to remain forever.Standing alongside my friends & deep in their hearts.A toast is lifted for my beary dear friends @ JSH/M2.Godspeed!
