It appears after review here that the only recent story on Acorn is this one and not several.

This still does not show a corrupt company. No matter how hard they try. It is not coming from the top down so it is not company policy.

I think Acorn has to answer to this, and because of all the trashing whether legit or not, they really have an obligation to clean up the trash in their organization. Those who are guilty should be punished, but I am not one to dismiss a whole group for what a few get away with. For an organization that has done so much good, it's depressing that we find they maybe engaging in some pretty despicable acts.

But let's not forget that this sort of thing happens in organizations affiliated with both sides. They just don't get caught at the same times.

What interests me is the two conservative young people that pulled this off, I want to know more about their actions too. Though I have no problem with them pulling this stunt, I want to know what provoked it. Are they out to simply discredit Obama or are they out to discover real bad apples, and are they willing to go after conservative organizations with the same gusto.

Yes this video is despicable, and should be punished like any other organization that has people in it that cheat the system. But this isn't about cheating is it?

This is about ACORN one of the sore spots in the campaigns. The republicans will have a field day with this, using it to their advantage while their base ignores the fact that their own representatives care more about the insurance and drug companies than they do about them. They will divert attention to this crap and their base will eat it up. Sad if it were not so pathetic.

Acorn like any other organization should be throughly investigated and charged with any crimes that are found, but it's clear that for many this is not about Acorn at all.

The republicans wasted no time did they? Sadly they forget that for every scandal on the left they use for political gain, one pops up on their side soon after.

And we'll be distracted by that instead of allowing the law to do it's job and investigate properly and put those in jail that are guilty of a crime. But no, we'll judge this in the media with half truths and innuendos, and as always we'll ignore the larger issues we should be paying attention to.
