...or is every top female pop singer adopting the same uniform of wearing their panties onstage.
Madonna, rihanna, britney spears, beyonce, lady gaga, shakira... It seems they all have roughly the same onstage costume. Where's the originality? meh... ah well. |

I like music because of how it sounds, not because of what they're wearing. So usually, what they're wearing makes no difference to me.

That's why all the crap on the radio sounds the same today, albeit I never paid attention to their attire, but I suppose it works the same way, too. |

Well, it gets difficult if you are strictly limiting it to a pop heading, so often a misunderstood categorization. For the sake of discussion, I'll expand the parameters.
Susan Tedeschi, Macy Gray rate high on the scale of "luminary chanteuse" for me as well ... Also big fan of Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Fiona Apple, Lucinda Williams, Emmy Lou Harris ... The list goes on and on! There are many more wonderful female singers ... |

They are the franchise....they are the product....the music (or non depending on your sensitivities) just accessorises the gimmick.

To conjoin this list, I'd also add: Adelle and Joss Stone ... as 2 female singer contemporaries that are great AND break stereotypical commercial notions ... To be continued ... |

I often wear my panties over my jeans. I don't do it as a fashion statement but more as a practicality. That way I am assured that if I am ever in an accident they will remain clean.

I'd expand on that by encouraging my tried and true tri~layer method: One panty directly on your privates, for hygiene ... Jeans as a middle of the sammy ... An other panty outside the jeans just to prove you really rock this cleanlinarse thang ... ... ... |
