ummm Americans can't throw rice anymore because it makes birds go BOOM! (which was the best part about rice at weddings IMO)

Have you actually seen this with your own eyes????? Birds eat seeds and grain all the time in the wild. the real reason is that rice is oblong and doesn't sweep up as easily as bird seed and thats why they don't want you to throw it at weddings anymore.

No one says what the Greeks throw during the process of their weddings I went to one and collected 6 stitches on my forehead 10 years ago.

The wealthier they are the more expensive china plates they throw. One flew like a flying saucer and hit me on my forehead In this one wedding at least 100 plates were smashed

The guest threw rice at my wedding AND IT HURT! Not only that but it got all inside our clothes especially my dress, left a trail all through the hotel lobby! We left a big tip for the maids!!!

They werent allowed to throw rice at my wedding......and we couldnt have the fake rose petals on the beach either because of "conservation" etc etc....
