Topic: What type of music you like listening to?

I like all kinds of metal and classic rock. Pantera, Hell Yeah, In Flames, 36 Crazyfists, Suicidal Tendencies, Becoming The Archetype, Dry Kill Logic, and lots more. I`m also getting into psychobilly. Koffin Kats, Nekromantix, Horror Pops, etc.

Mainly fusion types like techno/metal or rock/classical...then again, two of my favorite bands are called All That Remains and As I Lay Dying...perhaps because i'm a wee bit of a pessimist?

as I scan my files I have everything from Whiskey in the Jar to Sara Maclachlan to Sugarland and Velvet Underground and VH, a lot of post punk funky stuff and punk (some) but need to expand my post alt collection some.

i was raised on country
but i also like mellow rock, blues and jazz
i wasent a fan of opera untill i heard neil e boyd sing...
he has one AWSOME voice:smile:


my uncle was married to loretta lyns cousin
if you had looked at loretta and marie they looked idenical

and my dads 2nd cousin is teri clark
I love Teri Clark! I didn't listen to a lot of Loretta Lynn but I loved Crystal Gayle.

I mostly listen to country, bluegrass, and folk music, and blues. Also metal and some rap, post punk but sometimes some punk too, a little alt rock, but I love anything grassroots/folk or traditional music of other cultures even tho I don't know a lot abouot it. That's one of the reasons I love country with it's roots in the ballads of the hills and blues from the delta. Traditional American music has really interesting roots both here & abroad.

I also love Chinese Opera
