Actually meet the person in a bar or somewhere other than online. hook up and meeting seem to be two different things. There are individuals that do meet. Those of us that are regulars on the forums and have been become friends generally meet. There have been marriages and serious relationships from this site... and crash and burns. It all depends on how comfortable individuals are with online dating. |

I havent met anyone yet but I want too. In a public place of course. Im sure there are some that are scary. But Im sure that some would run from me too.

Now on to the question. How many people on here would actually hook up with a person on here? This question is done to death, eh?  Hooking up is a little low class.  I have meet several people -- all friends -- from this site. I have met and dated guys from one other site, and they were all pretty great. I meet someone I dated for 6 years from another site in 2000 and he moved from Tenn to Cali after we LDR'ed for a year. It can happen! People just have to be smart.

And how many of them have u needed to runaway from once you met them? I did that once; met a guy online in Seattle, took one look at him and ran to the nearest Starbucks. He was scary looking and so was his um, friend.
