Yeah, I can't play too much. I'm just taking a break for working on the house. It's nearly time to get back to it.

ROTFLMAO. Um... no. Well that depends... The living room and bathroom painting will be finished by tomorrow. The bathroom I'll still have to install the shower doors, bathroom sink, and I'm having a tile guy come into tile around the tub/shower that probably won't happen for a week. Then I get to do the two bedrooms, hallway and ... oh gezzz.... the kitchen Ack!

oh man that's a lot... you're redoing everything? I thought it was just the bathroom...

Pretty much everything. Be having a new roof and the outside painted as well if I don't run out of money.

I won't be doing much upstairs it's all pine panels, so just the ceiling up there.

did you buy it as a refurb or you just decided you wanted to spend a year or so of your life refurbing to keep yoursef ultra busy??

I bought the house of the family trust. My grand father built it back in the 20's and 30's. It's just due, and I don't have the money to pay to have all the work done. Besides, other than I'm too slow I'm enjoying the work. I went through college working for my step-father who was a contractor so I know how most of it is done

oh very nice... I'd do one thing at a time though, rest then another.. that way you don't run out of money or energy

Well that was my plan when I ripped out eh ceiling in the living room. Then came home one day to find the bathroom half ripped apart LOL.

Ah well guess I have to get into explications LOL. That would be Vicki (Lurchs_Sister here on Mingle) moved here from Iowa. She stayed in my house for a few months. And Lori who is a long time friend of mine, who broke up with her girl friend and needed a place to stay. Since both my kids moved out I had plenty of room and wanted some "free" help . Also Lori is a Faux painter by trade and so has lots of connections in the remodeling industry. She's helping me get some of the work I can't or won't do myself.

I think it was primarily Lori who got the bathroom started, but after that Vicki moved out and Lori got a new GF and I'm here working alone... though in all fairness Lori did come here yesterday and put on the first coat of paint in the living room.

ahhh well at least she's still coming to help...

Yeah, I really wanted help today and at first she said she would try, but after working alone all afternoon yesterday she said she hurting a bit too much. Ah well. Daughter is coming tomorrow... I hope .

On the plus side the Living room now has it's second coat on the walls. Need to go pick the paint for the bathroom now and buy some ceiling paint.
