Ya I hear ya. And wine does contain sugar which turns into fat. I know.......I work late too and unwind with a glass or 2......to help me sleep!!!frustrated I have no choice but to go to work with a sore back....its such a fast pace and I dont know for some reason I cant explain it.....its like a race or something in my mind? A work out so to speak??? I put 10 people to bed in 1 hour and 15 minutes. I have 2 left after 8 oclock.....thats like doing a marathon every night!slaphead

Ok, I'm beat and have to be up at 6... I'll catch you tomorrow...

I wonder if you put a salmon oil capsule in his food that would stop the allergies. My vet told me to do that with my cat.

Since he isn't on any hard meds I may just give it a try. I'm accustom to dealing with these any more. He's been having problems for the last 5 years... well actually probably closer to 6 it just took over year for someone to finally tell me what the problem was. Had one doctor accuse me of miss-treating him @#$%& idiot.

Ever consider switching him to a "raw meat" diet? Nooo, not the crap that you buy @ the store, rather meat that comes from a "free range farm". We've got 4 dogs & 2 cats on it...all in excellent health. in fact, my Rotty had allergies up until we switched from dry kibble to raw meat, now he's a cappy hamper smokin

I've got the food allergies under control, that's why he's ok during the winter. It's the pollen allergies that there's not much I can do about other than meds. Aloe vera (straight from the plant in my back yard not the processed stuff) internal or external also helps a little. I suspect the salmon oil might have a similar effect, figured I'd try to see if it's any better than the aloe.

Get wild alaskan salmon oil in capsules from the drugstore. My vet said to use about 1/2 a capsule per cat. Not sure how much to use for a dog, maybe go by weight? Anyways, it does seem to keep my cats skin/coat in alot better shape.....when I remember to use it!slaphead Btw.....it stinks hella bad!!!ill scared

I had a dog that had skin problems too......years ago. The dog was on pills for the rest of his life. The vet said he was prone to it because of his breed???? He was a spaniel/terrier mix.

Ok, probably going to be about the same, he's pretty small. My daughters cat out weighs him LOL.

Smells eh? So I'll be feeding him that outside LOL.

And yeah the same thing with my dog the breed is prone to allergy problems (sh|tzu-poodle or sh|t-poo for short, which is redundant but accurate laugh)

Ya....I believe they discovered in Alaska. Apparantly the sled dogs there have the least skin/allergy problems and they feed them salmon predominately.

Its worth a shot...flowerforyou

Neither of those are a problem here. 10 years old and he still acts like puppy.
