Anger.
I have a favorite quote: Anger is a weak person's imitation of strength. Loving is hard. |
|
|
|
Love conquers all

|
Love is stronger.
Anger is a choice, Love just is. |

Love is river deep, mountain high and eternal ... that's a hella 'lotta strength in one heavy undercurrent beneath stillwaters.
Any REAL love is a permanent fixture of a life, despite adversity or circumstance. It is almost as if a space, place and being. One is as if stuck w/ it, good, bad or ... well, there is no indifferent here! Anger is a transient emotion/passion that resembles a band~aid. It feels powerful and protective. When removed it reveals bedrock: the bleeding pain of a hurtful wound. Being in touch w/ the power of hurt and processing it, always quells the symptom called anger. Hurt is very big, BUT nothing trumps love. Nothing! Now! ... Wanna talk love vs hate ... ??? ... ![]() |

So all you folks who think love is easy and it just is.... why do people argue with their loved ones?

So all you folks who think love is easy and it just is.... why do people argue with their loved ones? To make them see what we perceive to be the best for them? |

In a steel cage death match, anger wins every time.

So all you folks who think love is easy and it just is.... why do people argue with their loved ones? To make them see what we perceive to be the best for them? That is rich.... Scary though, if you believe you argue with someone you love in order to try and help them. |

Yes and yes. But I do not argue with him to try and make him see what's best for him. Arguing with a child is poor parenting, but I admit I've done so.
If I argue with him it's because I'm not being patient and that I'm being weak. In parenting issues, immediate consequences are what is needed. He is eight. Arguing with a child is ridiculous. |
