So I was over there in the philosophy thread...and I just dont think what I have to say is "scientific" enough for them, nor is it "philosophical" enough either. So, its going in Coffee Houses, Bars & Chit Chat. And hey, its 3:55 AM. Works for me.

So anyways, I just recently dubbed myself a cynic. (thanks fear for dawning the light on me)

And when I am "talking" to someone, whether it be texting, emailing or even over the phone sometimes things get "out of control" for lack of better words.

I definitely take what they say "wrong," or so it seems.

I don't know if its habit, or what, but I seem to try and analyze everything everyone says.

So, my question is this. Am I wrong for that? I mean. When I talk to these people. The things they say just seem off.

I seem to be able to "feel", "sense" and "know" what someone is "eluding to" and "getting at" by the way they type and talk. But, if I shouldn't do that or if that is wrong. I must have wasted the past two years of my life.

But, does anyone get what I am saying?

Its hard to read into the "Emotional" side of text..

Don't look too deep into text, sarcasm and other humor intentions are lost most of the time in text.

Voice is something else though, you can hear when it isn't right better than you can see when it isn't right...well, except when it comes to explosions...you can pretty quickly see when those are not right.

In end, hope they don't explode.

With your sapience and finely tuned insight you must have
a good understanding of the motivational forces behind a lot of people's thoughts, intentions, etc. In other words, I think you're a good judge of character and can pinpoint a fraud or bs with no prob. When someone sounds "off" in what they're saying maybe say something like, "I hear what you're getting at but let me play devil's advocate here for a minute. You're saying that everyone should drive a VW and I'm saying you will never get 100% of the people to buy one because not everyone can fit in a VW." You're allowing them their opinion but you're also balancing it with your opinion in a constructive way. If it doesn't work take them out back and beat the tar out of 'em.
You're just more tuned in than a lot of people and that's good. So you must be tuned in to the fact that's it's late and I'm rambling! Night night.
