If the guy wants you to travel first, especially if he started the communication between the two of you, he's an *******. Now, on some circumstances, if the woman starts the communication, then she shouldn't mind traveling first, but the guy should be a man and step up and make his way to her first. In most cases, if the woman is willing to travel first to meet the man, she's gonna be a keeper and one hell of a woman!

Sharing the burden of an LDR should be normal but I've found that a lot of guys want to be 'carried' or they want the woman to make the effort. I flew to Atlanta when I started dating a guy stationed in Dothan, Ala. He drove the two hours to pick me up in Atl and he drove me back to the base in Ala. He was one of those 'good' guys that was a gentleman. Well, he was in the army and born in Texas. I love southern boy soldiers!
