it's not the material things you bring into a relationship they need.it's the companionship you have the uniqueness of you that you only can provide it's the nurturing of them you bring..your willingness to give of yourself to them.to stand beside them.and they reciprocate in kind for you ..

Is it possiable to give to much of yoursself? if this person is the one for you .there is no such thing as too much.. but there is smothering too.they need their outside interests.their friends outside your relationship .your friends together.you need to remember trust is a big thing too.. it's like a balancing act. you can't be all things to them..but you can be the best thing they will ever have..

How might one know if they really do "Love" a person, or they "Love" the person from habbit? Robert Heinlein said that "Love is that condition when another person's happiness is essential to your own." I think that's a pretty good definition for all species of love. If you stop caring about that person's happiness, then you probably don't love them anymore. |

That is exceptionally profound but to consider it in relati0on to my past I would have to think hard and probably set off the smoke alarm. I've been in love for sure 2 times but still not sure about a possible third. What I can say however is that if you love someone and end up splitting up, the pain may go away but the love never does. Usually rational thought takes over regarding the split... If you're lucky..
