Hi all,
Some of you may have picked up on this from other of my posts...I have resisted posting until now...perhaps to avoid a jinx? Silly! In a nut shell: I am getting a small inheritance, went on line and with my mom and step dad's help (they live in Rockland) I bought a little salt box (sight unseen by me). Get this! I got it for $15 thousand under asking price! Move in condition with work needed over time. I listed my trailer this past Tuesday, they showed it Tuesday and it looks like it may be sold...not sure yet but looking good AND I am getting my asking price! My new house is in Rockland Maine, a block from my aging folks and 2/10 of a mile from a beach. Walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. The sellers accepted my offer after I thought it was a gone deal when I couldn't meet their original counter offer, because "she wants to be here so badly" they even agreed to a settlement date two months away!! (have to wait for the inheritance to get to me) Lots of details to arrange and work out yet, including possibly moving settlement up by two weeks. I swear you guys I feel like I am living in a dream come true. I have wanted to live on/near the ocean for as long as I can remember. Sorry this is so long - but more good news...Sat is my last day at my dreadful job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Money will get tight as heck but I will work that out. I swear I earned a truck load of Karma helping my husband die with dignity and as little pain as possible and now it is again coming back to me! (I'd rather have my husband than the beach but that is long not my choice) It feels so good to be happy and excited and OUT OF THAT JOB! Last big hurtles are really selling here and than a decent job in Maine! |
