ok is there any fun stuff to do in Tacoma washington when theres no snow. i would love to hear some ideas and places to go

LOTS of stuff to do if you like outdoors stuff: Wolf Haven is wonderful (if you like animals); ditto Northwest Trek. Driving the Peninsula there's Port Townsend (great micro brewery there) plus scenery; there's several rain forests, tide pools, Hurricane Ridge. Up around Seattle, I really liked the Blake Island tour (with a terrific cedar-plank salmon dinner); the Seattle zoo is cute. There's riding the Duck (worth the price of admission); the zoo at Point Defiance plus the park and the gardens. Just check out the Tacoma city web page.

I am heading to Port Townsend tomorrow. On Saturday I believe we are going whale watching. The following week is the wooden boat festival. My first trip west is going to be so much fun.
