What is this, weird science?

No, it's perfectly nice to tell fat girls they're fat. They love it.
Man I love Sarcasimlaugh

honesty is the best policy - try to come across as graceful as possible - how can you move on if you like her? - let her know what's on your mind - she likely already knows she could staqnd to lose a few - I know I ought to lose a few...

Since i'm in the overweight category and need to exercise and loose some weight, it would be a good way to motivate myself. You could have fun cooking healthy meals and long walks/bike rides, after all of that it might not even occur to you that she has a bit more to love.
And the added benefit would be doing the stuff yourself. Of course if the relationship doesn't work out it wont be because of her weight and you've helped someone help themselves.

To ask a girl to lose some weight?

Well, heck, no. Or vice versa.

Never point out a woman's flaws unless you are willing to pay to have them fixed. Trust me, she already knows and doesn't need to hear it from YOU!!

Don't you think it's likely that she would already have the thoughts that she wanted to loose weight. It's not like anyone wants to be fat. If she is going to loose weight then she will do it on her own, she doesn't need you telling her its a turn off.

Okay I'm gonna just say it. laugh While I can agree with the guys that it's a great idea, in theory, to suggest we can get healthy together, etc, for a man to suggest to a woman that she is over weight hurts her feelings, even if she knows it to be true. We take that sort of thing more personal perhaps than guys; do the omg he doesn't like me after all I AM REPULSIVE! I'd tread very lightly with this.

laugh laugh Redd! Only you!! laugh

I think, at least to me, the key thing here is it's been TWO dates. This is a or can be a touchy subject if someone you are with for years adds a bit of weight and you want to mention it. Two dates....nope.

It's absolutely none of your business to tell another person to lose weight -- especially if you have do not have any blood or martial ties to the person.

Just move on and let her find someone that will accept her as she is now.

We shouldn't try to change people -- it cannot be done. Accept them (warts and all) – end of story.

If she asks you to help her lose weight, that is a different story. She is asking for motivation and support.

I wouldn't ask a guy to change his socks if I did't like them. I either accept his ugly socks or I don't.

This reminds me of that Charter bundle commercial that is out now. Not sure if it's in every state. Where the guy goes on a first date and instead of flowers takes the girl a thigh master!
