Their pizza stacks up, awesome cheese, and their garlic cheese bread sticks with ranch dressing are mouth watering,.. non stop eating. Besides that Ive had the most amazing pizza in Manhattan,... not a whole lot beats that.. its in the water, and the fresh toppings with the superior cheese. |

back when I ate meatballs....I loved them on some pie..... not certain about the ranch dipping sauce.....I think an Ice Cold Beer would work for me... Ha ha.. Yeah, ive had all kinds of good pizza, my family is Sicilian, and also Italian.. Soo.. i can make it good at home, (like my uncle Tony's recipe, or even a quickie with some dough premade, and ready to go from the bakery, or grocer. I love making calzones, and stromboli as well at home, my son lives for it. |

Umm.. shape, and a calzone usually requires ricotta cheese.. Stromboli may have mozzarella, provolone, but typically a calzone has the nice ricotta.
You usually wont find a stromboli with ricotta only as you will with a calzone. A calzone is usually much smaller than a stromboli, and feeds less, as a stromboli is made like a long loaf. Heres some pictures. Calzone from the italian word calza, meaning sock, or something stuffed. Stromboli Named for an Island in the Lipari islands. Most pastas names come from simply what they resemble in shape. Manga! |

In my book, the best pizza is in Rome. The crust is super thin and crispy, lots of Parmesan cheese and lots of anchovies.

I like the Chicago style pizza's occasionally, other wise a good hand tossed crust is my fave! Toppings of choice are pepperoni, black olives, pineapple and jalapenos...
