Barbiesbigsister, I think the budget's in California are probably quite
a bit different from those in TN. My Bro has been on contract running
Cable for the greater LA School District for the past year. He says most
schools have two computer labs with up to 48 per lab PLUS ALL classes
have at least three computers in them now (and that frequently goes up
to six computers in some classes). He says 750+ drops (computer
hook-ups) are the norm for the larger schools.

With that said, figuring in the cost of 750+ computers, LCD monitors,
printers, servers, software, wiring them up, maintence contract, etc...
$700,000 doesn't really sound to far out of reach now (specially at
government rates) does it?
