I tried really hard to make my relationship with my son's father work out. I thought everything was ok until he left for Iraq and didn't talk to me the entire time he was gone. After about a month of no phone calls/emails/letters...I just realized he had moved on and that I should do the same. It was hard because I was pregnant, but I couldn't waste my time wanting somebody who didn't want me.

It's a decision they made, not me.

you just do

the first ex wife I threw out

the second one was a little more amicable

the third one, I just looked her in the eye and let go and watched her as she fell from the bridge

Sometimes it is the only choice you get. Why throw your life away for something that isn't anymore.

a loved one as in family, or a loved one as in partner?

i will never ever let go of any family that i have lost! never ever ever ever!

as for an ex... they were hard, but once i realized that my life was better without them, it was easier to let them go...

well there's only one girl that i would ever love. and that was so many years ago. and though i know i'll never get her outta my heart. she never loved me back ooohh i know. (meatloaf)
i loved a girl in high school, googled her the other day, she came up on facebook, she has a different last name now. i was contemplating getting on facebook to see what is up. i guess better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all. closed chapter. time heals all wounds.
