Vikings 27 Cowboys 24...please...I hope...please...I just want the Vikes to go to and win one superbowl.Everyone talks about how sad it was for the Bills to have gone to 4 in a row and lose them all but Minnesota is 0-4 in the bowl too. They just did it in the same decade not 4 in a row.

Watching the Vikings play this weekend will be like watching Green Bay at Arizona except the Vikings have a defense.

I'd love to see Brett help win a Superbowl for Minnesota, mainly so I can stuff it in the faces of all these idiot Packer fans I live around that for some strange reason now hate the man.

40 years old and having the best season of his career. If he does'nt make it, at least i got to see him play another year.

I don't hate him. He was a great QB for the Packers, but he is a Viking now, and I hate the Vikings.

As far as "best season of his career," only time will tell. Remember, he won 3 MVPs from 95 to 97 and a SuperBowl in the middle. Since then, his playoff record and performances have been abysmal. Not to mention his record over the last several years, coming down the stretch (the last 5 games of the season). Ask any Jets fan.

Granted, this year he has the benefit of a pro-bowl offensive line, the best running back in the NFL, and a Defense that neccesitates very little need for come-from-behind performances.

That being said, if a team takes away the Vikings' run game, and forces Favre to beat them, they probably don't have much to worry about.

As I like to say, Trent Dilfer has as many SuperBowl rings as Favre.

Trends are formed to be broken, but if you bet against them, you are normally going to lose a lot of money.

hahahaha the saying in Texas is,

"Never bet on the Cowboys. And never bet against em"

because whatever you bet they'll do the opposite

With the regular season over, this is indeed the statistically best season of his career.

Indeed. However, here are some other statistics.

Other than the Packers, Bengals and Ravens, their wins have come over non-playoff teams.

Only one of their 4 losses was to a team that made the playoffs.

His defense has put him in position to only have to make two 4th quarter drives, Green Bay and San Francisco.

The Vikings have made a deal with the devil, in my opinion. If they don't win a SuperBowl this year, it will just go down as another season without one.

No Viking fan will care what Favre's stats were.
