What is the best memories you have of the past (that you actually experienced for yourself lol)?


Mine is being stationed in Wuerzburg Germany, with the 67th Combat Support Hospital. I don't think I have any bad memories at all about the 2-3 years I spent there, and know I would love to go back to visit some day, with my kids so they could experience the history that I felt.

I had so many first time experiences (like the autobahn), that it can be overwhelming even now after 15 years to look back and think about everything I did and experienced.

Gave birth to my brother at home in the 60's

Seeing him be born was the best!!

Hanging out with the guy I was dating and enjoying the little things in life. I miss my friend, but not the dating part!

One of my best memories as a child is sitting in the apple tree at my grandparents house. I will never forget how hot it was, the sweet smell of the apples, the buzzing of the bees, the way the sun felt as it filtered through the treetop.

As an adult my best memories are of the days my children were born. I didn't realize the capacity of love I could hold in my heart until I looked into their faces.
