...They say is driven by jealousy, wanting to control another,low self esteem,lies,alcoholism, possessiveness, cheating and violence.Most people ignore the early signs of any of these instances directed at them during a realationship,how much are you prepared to fogive a partner if any one of these traits is directed towards you? The "cheating" would seal the deal for me. I could handle and would deal with all the others except for that. After volunteering to be my Cabanahandyman you have sold yourself to me............ More than I should have Bonnie. But they say better or worse for a reason. Should be "for better AND worse" because if it is all worse and no better... time to run!! Love has to be mutual, if someone really loves you..they also respect you and treat you as LOVED! |

Through the years many times I have over looked a lot of things and forgave others for certain things. But cheating, being abusive, whacked out on drugs, or if they were and alcoholic those are the things I could not tolerate from anyone...I have also found out as I get older I do not look for the same thing as I did when I was younger. Now it is more the way the person treats me and makes me feel. Can they grab my attention and hold it, do they have a great personality and sense of humor......but I still tend to look for that smile that makes the eyes light up when they look at me.......you see the older I get I want that one to live the rest of my life with.....and have found out if they are not what I'm looking for I would rather stay single for I can still enjoy my life without a man......  |

You are bang on. Isn't wisdom the greatest thing? However, along with that comes gray hair, wrinkles (wear them proudly) and things on your body start moving south LOL.
