I know what you are saying, just not sure why the ones that move me, are not moved, not in the way I am. I screen the people I am intrested in, not only by looks but by their soul, their personality, and then I see myself sitting here alone yet another day. you just divorced...you haven't been alone all that long. Been alone for 9 months now. a whole 9 months huh? Relax, it will happen, take some time for your self.

Well you are asking"does the end justify the means?"well it most certainly does if we find the significant other whom we seek.I've been here since my divorce which amounts to nearly 3 yrs.& I have not found her yet however within me lies hope.I have learned that patience & perseverance are the keys.Heartache,sorrow & anxiety are not.Stay strong!Godspeed!Cy

When you just do what you normally do, without the sense of urgency in regards to searching... there really isn't any constant heartache... give up the search... just be yourself and make friends that have the same interests, values, and morals. There really isn't any deadline or timeline. Life is not a race.

Is the constent heartache worth the search? I'm beginning to wonder. Ask not what it's worth; ask, instead, what is the only alternative. Your answer will be, no search, no heartache. It would be very boring and pointless to live such a life. Only very strong people can do it, like priests and people in prisons. |
