No dont let her be your waitress If you tip too much she may think you are trying to buy her if you dont tip enough she will think you are a cheapskate.
My ex showed up at my work with a rose and asked me out... How could I say no.... we were together for 15 years :)

If you really like her don't over do the appearance at the job.

Flash her a big smile and do NOT try to slip her a note or chat. Not only is it High School it will make a bad impression on her boss if you are unlucky enough that S/he sees you do it. Most employers frown on fratenizeing with customers and could get her a reprimand or worse terminated. Places hire heavy for openings then let go the over hires for the smallest reasons. You want to torpedo your relationship do something to wreck her job would be sure to do it.

It will be stressful enough day for her If you want to send her a note wishing her Good Luck send her a pretty or funny e-card the night before.

That's a tough one. If she asked you if you were going to be at the opening, and you said yes, I would go, but don't expect to be able to ask her out - she's going to be busy doing her job.

If she sees you and smiles, makes contact on her own, whatever, you will no she is interested and it gives you an "in" for a later time. Go to the restaurant again when it will be less busy, see her at your work, etc.

Don't try to "coincedently" run into her in the parking lot when she is leaving or arriving at work - THAT would be stalkerish.
