Are they supposed to be holes in space or holes to other paralell worlds? I mean from two points in OUR universe or other ones.

I have worm holes in my tomatoes.grumble

Actually it is a fold or curvature that two disassociated points come in contact with one another. Picture a balloon that when you use your fingers and push on two places on the balloon until your fingers connect is sort of like what a worm hole is.

Look up Quantum Linking. it is suspect that teleportation would be a form of gating or using some kind to tunnel trough space to get from one point to another. Stargate is an example of the idea of a worm hole. It is possible a worm hole can lead to another dimension BUT that may be speculation only. Our grasp of physics is too limited to really understand Planar travel.

Thanks, but I thought I saw on some TV show where a wormhole "although a very very small one" has been created in a lab, and that it only lasts a very very short time. have you heard this?

The CERN project! They don't really publicize it but you can check em out...http://public.web.cern.ch/public/en/About/About-en.html

I have heard of this, But I am not sure if they successful. But to answer your question. A wormhole is nothing more than a strong gravitational force cause space/time to bend and fold on itself. With enough force, you can fold space to were to distant places could touch each other. Think of a piece of paper, you are on one corner, and you need to get to the other corner. The distance between the corners is 5 million light years. Now if you can place something with enough gravity in the center of the paper, it bends the space around it and brings the two corners together.

Thats cool thanks... better than light speed travel huh.

Well, a FTL(faster than light) travel is a whole different subject. But a wormhole is an alternative to FTL.

Wormhole could not be targeted tho correct?

Well, I guess you could Targeted the direction of the Hole formation if you alter the gravimetric distortion to an ellipse in a right angle to the direction you want to go... Might work.. Right??

You guys really need to look at Quantum Linking then! It may be possible to "Target" a worm hole.

Well, Not big on the Wormhole stuff. I prefer to lean on Local Spacial Displacement. Seems to work little easier and requires less power than a wormhole. I mean, you don't need a Super Massive Black Hole to power a Local Spacial Displacement Engine... lol
