Just depends on the message. If it's rude or very obnoxious, I won't reply. I try to be nice and reply.

 A word of advice,have a look around the forums,join in every now-and-again and be nice to the ladies.

If someone isn't interested in you or what you have to say, sometimes they think it's nicer to say nothing rather than insulting you. I wrote a local guy asking him a polite question, he read it and ignored me. I'd rather he did that, than write back and call me a vulgar name. Depends on what you like, I guess.

I always reply. Even when I was seeing someone for a while, I would reply to thank them for the email, and also if they paid me a compliment, and to say that I was taken. Even the rude one got an email telling them what for and not to contact me again, then...block.
