There are too many F@@K@N people consuming it and California agriculture represents 12% of world's agricultural production if I remember the statistic properly. that places insane demand on an aqueduct built in the 1930s! it was built to accommodate only X amount of Agriculture and X amount of people. X now =s more people than it was designed to accommodate. Immigration reform and booting out the millions of illegal immigrants here would be a start! Also better means of water recovery and Municipal Desalinization would also be of tremendous benefit!

But hey, think Boxer or Feinstein would vote anything like that in? Then again where is the money coming from to do this???

But what do I know?

Obama set up something concerning this already. I think it was a review board of some kind.

too bad it's a state issue, see 9th and 10th amendments of the Bill of Rights.

Doesn't mean the Federal government can't help. The state will be glad of the help I am sure.
