I was treated to the works by my office as a birthday gift. I graciously accepted and tried my hardest to enjoy this gift.
First off, totally embarrassing for me to have a chick touching & washing my feet. ( I secretly wanted to kick her in the face) Then she sat on the floor in front of me and gave my toenails a french onion manicure! I think she was annoyed because I'm so tickelish and kept moving. Now my toenails looklike frosted pink gumdrops. Next came the fingernails.....she would'nt let me play Freddy Kruger very long before cutting down the the falsies...and I messed them up twice , once because I had an itch, and 2 nd time because I just had to strum them on the table before the paint dried. And..... I guess she did'nt find it funny that I kept talking to her in Chineese even though I can't speak it. Now , that I have these inch long, $25, airbrushed, sparkly pieces of plastic magically seared onto the ends of my fingers...I can no longer open my knobless cupboards, button buttons, pick up any small objects, or barely press these keys on this dang keyboard! I have scratched myself and my son twice and poked myself in the eye 3 times. ALL & all ,it looks great and it was fun, but just not for me. I will not do it again unless required....wedding, special occassion,Freddy Kruger convention, ect...... |

Oh i think men should get them. I love getting them. Nothing like a man with nice clean hands and nails. Go for it. You will be surprised how nice your hand and nails will look afterwards. Get your toes done too. Our feet need attention also.

Back in England I had a hippy friend called Peter. He was known locally (He is not dead so still is)as "Pete the feet" The bleeder never wore shoes ever had his toes always manicured and painted black had along beard and very long hair and was the by product of the Wood stock era. I guess women like odd balls so he was very popular with ladies . I wonder why I am not doing so well with women? The bottom of his feet must have been thicker than the sole of your shoes
That kind of reminded me of a song hmmm |

I am WAY too ticklish.. I stopped getting pedicures and do them at home now.. soak and pumice and all... and I get do it better than the salon :)
Altho, I still love to get my manicures.. but not that sparkly stuff :) American manicure is much more natural looking than French Manicure.. |

I said he was a close friend but not that close I never went near him close enough to find out about other attributes On the other hand I have had some very odd ball of friends they have all contributed in some form or other to development of yours truly I think the success of Pete the feet was due to his general attitude. There again women in England are different to women in the USA in a number of levels. |

I have a friend. my best friend actually. Oilfield trash redneck. beer drinking, tobacco chewing, farting, belching, cussin, biker of a man. 6 foot 2 and 250 lbs.
He works on his feet 12 to 15 hours a day in the oilfield, ankle deep in brine and sludge so corrosive he has to buy new steel toe work boots every six months and every six months when he gets a new pair of boots he goes in for a pedicure. He says his feet never felt as good before he started doing it and they dont hurt so much at the end of the day so maybe its worth doin |

So, tell me everything you do step by step when you do your pedicures because I want to do my own. If you don't mine sharing. Thank You! First I use a footsoak.. I like Freeman's brand best, but Avon also has one that is very good... then I use this little tool that is a razor tucked inside a handle, on my heels and other areas to get rid of rough skin, after that I use a pumice stone and a foot scrub, also by Freeman's, after that I dry off and use an orange stick to push back and deal with cuticles, then I lotion up, I use a deodorizing mint lotion, then after that is all blended in, the absolute best foot lotion in the world is Avon's cracked heel relief, I don't have cracked heels but the power of the lotion is so strong my feet are very smooth.. I eventually file and polish and Im done :) I have done it for bf's in the past too :) |

working on fingernails and toenails is what i do and if u are scratching your self they left them to long which i'm sure u figured that out all on your own. If u go to someone that can understand u and u can understand u wont have that problem.
As far as a man getting a pedicure i see nothing wrong with it, it feels great. I have had several come to me and i have even had a few get a manicure, one is a construction worker he said his hands dont hurt when he gets them done. |
