there once was a time in my life that all was bright
my light shown through the many storms that had passed
i thought i had it all, i thought i could not fall
till the day the doctor called
then my light faded so fast as i watch my life slip right past
what shall i do i thought to myself
then i realized i cant do anything but sit back and enjoy the ride
fate and delt the cards and i just got a bad hand
now all i do is sit with my toes in the sand
