damnit why doesnt this forum have an arts and crafts area!!! I think you are right I do not knit or crochet but would love to know how. This thread is interesting, can we ask for a arts and crafts area?

I have been crocheting, knitting and doing tatting from the age of ten, I am now trying to master embroidery (which my mum is brilliant at) I also cross stitch.Bobbysocks, welcome to the world of crafts, once you go there, there is no turning back,enjoy the ride.

just wanted to let everyone know that i finished the hat... the brim is lopsided and off from center but damn does it look good for being a first time! ;p i'll post pictures as soon as i can.
maybe by then we'll have a forum for it. LOL |

so i youtubed tatting to find out what it is..
holy crap talk about detail. i watched for like 10 minutes while a woman did it in spanish with a clothespin as he thingie. oh man. very cool. i dont think i have the eyesite for that. |
