Religion is a snare and a raquet. what is about religion that makes people whine so much .. your driving along listening to free radio and some one comes on and ask if you wouldn,t feel better if you let god in your life . he didn,t charge you for the info ,he did paid to tell you that . you didn,t have to listen to it . whats the problem you scare of god .did he do something to you , did he molest you . My self i don,t mind I have a very good relation with got he doesn,t ask for much . he only has a few laws he would like you to obey . but if you don,t hes not going to harass you about . at least not while your alive . if god bothers you that much you really don,t believe in him any way so what do you worry about .. My self I don,t believe that god really cares as much as most people wish he did . he has told us in every language what he wants but man keeps adding his own twist . does he get mad and bellow about it no he just waits to ask what has he done for us to be such ******** . then he reminds you he told all of us that HE is the final judge and as you stand before him you know its your turn . then you remember that hes supposed to for give you and all the things you have done to him . because he is a somewhat loving god ... as you demand your right to forgiveness he smiles at you , his smile grows as he looks at you and studies your list of trespasses against him he starts to lightly laugh . then he ask you 2 simple questions do you think i am a idiot I guess not every year you ask for gifts at my birthday maybe you think i,m SANTA CLAUS.. HAVING SAID THAT HE WALKS AWAY AND YOU THINK HE FOR GAVE ME AND THEN YOU BEGIN TO DISAPER FOR EVER .your family that has awaited you gos away they know what has happened they see it all the time now days .now call the aclu . |

I don't understand how a commercial for Islam is any worse than a commercial for any other religion.

Would you feel better if the commercial was as follows...
“Ever fill like something is missing in your life, that there is a void you’ve been unable to fill?” That was pretty much the blurb, the commercial ad. And I waited, expecting something like “Brought To You By The Church of the Latter Days Saints,” or “Jehovah’s Witnesses” or even “The New Upbeat Ministry of the Pierced and Tattooed.” Something like that. But not this time. “Please visit,” the abbreviated pitch closed, "www.VIAGARA.org". True.... the copy takes on a whole new meaning, but that is what commercials do. They offer a product to an audience who might want it. And honestly, I think Christians have done a wonderful job of turning Christ into a product.

But I do worry for the youth, whose minds are like pizza dough ready to be rolled and crimped by those who would take away my tequila, my “Family Guy”, and replace them if they could with Islamic American family values. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The one true god? It seems the gods are in competition for the naive. Islam will just be one more religion aimed at vulnerable naive people of all ages. That only proves the person who placed the sticker is definately afraid of the God he or she chose to believe in. I'm no into gods that play game or people that play games. And I don't fear things I don't see. I am more apt fear the buttheads I do see. |

If women are free they might choose something that doesn't include catering to a man hand and foot. If homosexuals exist freely it might discredit their beliefs in the first place. Their faith is what gives them the permission to judge both. The problem is that woman and homosexuals of today show no fear of them, so they need to try to change that. It's just not working in the US. And I think as each generation gets more educated, it will never be so again. Of course that doesn't mean the church won't try to bring back the kind of control they once had, but as time goes on they look more insane than righteous. |
