playing the cards i was dealt
..there never seemed to be...
any aces for me...

..i'm almost out of money
all my friends are long gone
ive even lost my honey

she left me for another man
who sat across me at the table
i guess he wasnt a loser like me
he won every time he was able..

so how about another drink
..i get them for free
from the bartender
who happens to be...
a good friend to me...
and sometimes a money lender..


i'll be here all night
just like the many before..
with my vodka and orange juice
and the two cards on the felt
the one's i've been dealt
the worst hand in poker....
