I can't imagine anyone not being able to read my feelings on my face especially my eyes. If I was drawn to a friend where it would not be in their or my best interest I would distance myself from that person quickly and for a long time.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Unrequited love??? Different kettle of fish altogether. Does being around them in 'friend' mode cause you pain, harm, or anything else like that? be honest with them... 'I am finding myself falling in love with you, and wanting to be with you, but you aren't out from under your ex...I love these qualities about you, (and list them)....but I want something from you, that you cannot offer right now. Lets get a little more specific. You were dating someone, fell in love, then realized they were still in love with someone else. Could you hide your feelings to be their friend? i'd gradually walk away, and keep the friendship at a comfortable distance. i wouldn't tell them how i feel; if they loved someone else, why would i want to make them feel guilty, or uncomfortable, just so i could unload my depth of feeling?

I would like to think we all have done this one time or another. I think sometimes it is that one wants a intimate relationship and the other is oblivious to what the other wants. (this is from experience) There was girl I was great friends with in High School just like a best of a sort, I just was not end to her that way. Found out years later of course she would have like to had been mother to my children so to speak. Now she has been married twice and has 4 kids and to my knowledge is happily married to no2. I guess it is all about choice and what it is that attracts you to those who you are frinds with and whether or there is chemical attraction ect....is life and experience..
