Why is it that whenever I talk to someone be myself send pics etc. They want to meet then after we meet I am still the same they say they want to meet again but then wont respond when I try to talk to them again??? :-| Please see 'Online Dating'. No one really has to be honest here, some are...most however, are not. More than likely let you down easy with the "I'll call you later" line, or even the all too classic "we should get together again soon", maybe even with an exclamation mark at the end for more emphasis. Online dating is no different than real life dating, only difference is online has the luxory of not doing anything when they don't want to go out again...nature of the beast, also why I don't date from here anymore. |

I wish lmao then maybe i wouldnt be looking for a reason for this to be happening id be in my own little world :-) maybe im toooo honest but i am me cant be anyone else people dont change so why be fake in the beginning only to be hurt later?

If someone tells you they will call you, then don't, it is a lazy way of saying they are not interested. Is it rude to lie? Yes but if you press for how you did or will you see them again it is easier than saying no and having to deal with the fallout in person. |

After meeting someone how often do you attempt to contact them? Too much could be a red flag for them.

Jess its not that ive invested too much or even anything at all to want to understand i just want to know why in general not speaking of anyone in particular THAT would be INSANE to be attached in any way after a single date!

Jen, you strike me as reasonably insightful, and objectionable...just from reading your posts in this thread... There's nothing to understand, they chose not to respond...their choice...and possibly their loss. Human nature is as complex as the culture, the ethics, the demographics of each individual...add in age, gender, religion, background...and it become more enigmatic. They didn't respond...their loss...you are being you..REAL, authentic, and genuine...they found that too confronting, not appealing, or whatever... again, their loss. NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
