Thank god someone else is experiencing a bout of procrastination. I have done so ALL day long. Now I don't feel so guilty about it. I have these days every now and then. Most days, the words just flow; then, there are days like today, when there's some sort of literary obstruction and it just comes out sounding like Gilbert Gottfried in a blender. Oooooh, another recipe.... |

Thank god someone else is experiencing a bout of procrastination. I have done so ALL day long. Now I don't feel so guilty about it. I have these days every now and then. Be thankful that somedays it does flow for you.
 I would love to write, but "it" never flows for me. I just don't have that creative spark.  |

For me, it was really just a matter of writing and writing and writing until I reached the point where I liked the end results. Constantly fine-tuning, learning little tricks, working on things like flow and structure and continuity and cohesiveness. And there are still days when it doesn't come out quite right, but that's OK. I've learned not to try to force it. |

For me, it was really just a matter of writing and writing and writing until I reached the point where I liked the end results. Constantly fine-tuning, learning little tricks, working on things like flow and structure and continuity and cohesiveness. And there are still days when it doesn't come out quite right, but that's OK. I've learned not to try to force it. You also have to have a creative mind to make up a new story. I'm more of the "news reporter" type of writer. Tell me the story and I can easily write it out in an understandable way. But, ask me to think up something to write and I go blank.  Hang in there, Lex. It'll come. |

Lexy..... Here is a question I'd like answered. What is the difference between a freeway and a highway? A highway and byway? Can you explain this to me? A freeway is free and a highway is high. Byway is just a word to rhyme with highway. Today is "Specious Day"! |
