Our reality is just a bunch of agreements -- since it would be impossible to co-operate with each other otherwise, because everything is just a matter of the interpretation...

Therefore, for the sake of uniformity, there has been proposed a common "dictionary" of Reality that all of the Humanity has agreed to abide with -- for the reason of avoiding the "conflict of interests!"
Also, It depends on the frame of reference:
Personal reality stems from the Objective reality.
Yet, whatever one conceives the Personal reality to be, it absolutely MUST fit the Objective reality -- for the reason of avoiding the "conflict of interests!"
