We are converting to a socialist state, pull up a chair and get some popcorn, cause there's nothing you can do about it short of an all out revolt. Personally I don't need to be killing anyone, yet. It'll be at least 2 generations from now before the uprising, probably longer as the conversion to socialism is taking a little longer than usual, but such things happen if you look at history. Personally, I can stitch my own wounds and take care of my own colds, if I get cancer then let it take me. Why fight with the will of the gods? Enjoy life for now and try not to let it get to you. Putting up with some of the BS that goes along with socialism is a pain in the rear but far worse to die of a stroke from worrying about it. If you aren't ready to take up arms then don't let it bother you. We will never see socialism here so that is a mute point. |

Nearly every country in europe is slowing turning the tide to socialism, and of course I mean the most basic conception that everyone has the same stuff, everyone is equal financially, I don't read into it, just the ideal version. Government health care is the most obvious shift to this trend, and government run corporations are a big hint. You may be right, but you might not. |

The gov't could not run a fruit stand, let alone health care.  Oh they can run things allright... They just do it for the benefit of themeselves... and not US. I just hate the thought of the shemonster-Pelosi over looking my health care  ahh but she won't be. There will be a czar and a secretary... Ummm... Czar... Aint that russian for LORD. and they will be protected by this bill from prosecution... Magna Carta reversed... Is that good for US? |

Ever since Karl Marx's ideas improved the lives and working conditions of people across the world Pure capitalism was when we still had slaves. That is what pure capitalism leads to Socialists were the people who started orphanages and improved safety conditions for people working in coal mines and things like that.

Living and working conditions were so bad in some countries that full scale revolutions broke out when Karl Marx published his ideas. Other countries such as the United States adopted a mixture of capitalism and socialism. Safe working conditions,orphanages,pensions for the elderly,disabilty compensation,unions,and programs to feed the starving were started throughout various parts of the world by socialists in the late 1800s These ideas proved to be popular.

I don't go to town halls but I do talk to my neighbors who, except for one wants health care reform and a public option. |

I don't call them foolish for speaking their minds. I call them foolish for their behavior at these meetings. I also see that the Tea Party started out as a grass roots organization. Now they have Republican speakers at their meetings. They're changing. Whom else would they have speaking? If they had democrats than the conservatives would be pissy. Its either or O_O |

I have seen people out there on the opposing side who have acted respectfully and were treated the same way. Others shouted and pointed at representatives with angry contorted facial expressions, and pretty much were tolerated but it didn't create an atmosphere of discussion, instead people chanted slogans and insults. One can't play it down it's too obvious. You won't get anything from me if you scream at me, didn't these people learn that from their parents? I don't think you have to be on either side of this to be a moron, some folks just have never learned to communicate with out anger and violence. |

one thing to keep in mind is that these angry people are still constituents, voters
and the legislaters need to address the anger and where it comes from or they wont be re elected |
