I banned fairs this year....
 I end up spending way too much money for nothing. I didn't even take the kids to Cedar Point or Kings Island. Might do that next year though.

you cant ban the canfield fair! at least not for me anyways, its traditional my way....

I know...friends thought it was odd we were not going. It just seemed like throwing money away. Tickets to get in are cheap, but the rides are like 12 bucks a wrist band....not to mention food, games, etc. Our fair sucks too.....
 No bands or anything.
The big entertainment was The Caboodlestoppers who are a nice family oriented "act", however this year they were participating in the TV show Wife Swap and the "new mother" had to do the act. Apparently she didn't like it and ended up using the F word on stage in front of a crowd of families. They had to cancel the rest of the shows and the producer of the tv show made a public announcement on the fair intercom..... . I'm sure it was all scripted, but you don't just throw out the F word in a crowd of small town folk. Kind of funny really, but I'm glad my kids weren't there to see it.

ive been in Ohio all my life.....Hawaii sounds much better than county fairs
